पहला target होता है पानी में रहने वाला खतरनाक Mosasaurs, जहां से कहानी और भी ज्यादा thrilling हो जाती है। इसी बीच एक family भी accidental तरीके से इस खतरनाक adventure में फंस जाती है, जब उनकी boat Mosasaurs के हमले से डूब जाती है।
फिल्म में high-octane action scenes, breath-taking dinosaur chases और कुछ light comic moments भी हैं, जैसे कि Xavier का goofy behaviour और T-Rex का अपने sleep में roll करना, जो काफी मजेदार है। Gareth Edwards ने Steven Spielberg के Jurassic DNA को बरकरार रखते हुए फिल्म को entertaining बनाया है, भले ही story में ज्यादा नया न हो।
